The Passing Away of ‘Khatoon e Jannat’ (the Holy Lady of Heaven)
*Date of Passing Away* : Regarding the date of the passing away of Sayedatun Nesaail Alamin Her Holiness Fatematuz Zahra (AS), the historians have narrated that six months after the passing away of her father His Holiness Muhammad Mustafa (SWS) she left this world and met with Allah Lord of All Worlds on 3rd Ramazan. This matter of the date has been mentioned in the Hadees as :
عن أبى جعفر قال توفيت فاطمة بعد النبى صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم بستة أشهر
Meaning : It has been narrated by His Holiness Abu Zafar : he said, “Her Holiness Fatema (AS) passed away six months after the passing away of the Holy Prophet (SWS).”

*Bathing and the Funeral Prayer Will* : It is narrated by His Holiness Umme Jafer that : one day, at the time of her illness, she asked her servant Her Holiness Asma binte Umais (RA), ‘Is there any way, that people may not see me up till my funeral prayer ?’ Then Her Holiness Asma binte Umais (RA) said, ‘ Oh ! Daughter of the Holy Prophet (SWS), I have seen in Habs province, the people there tie the branches of trees on the four sides of a bedframe and put a cover on it so that the bedframe becomes like the shape of a doolie. And all sides become covered.’ Thereafter, Her Holiness Asma brought some date leaves and showed her how to make a doolie. Her Excellency Sayeda Fatima (AS) saw the doolie and liked it much and said, ‘When my funeral shall be ready, prepare a similar doolie. And take me for burial at night and do not give the news of my funeral to anyone. And, yourself and Maula Ali (AS), you two shall perform my bath. And you will call none other in my funeral.’

*Who Claimed the Blessed Soul of Her Excellency Sayeda Fatima (AS) ?* : When Allah, the Most Gracious, asked the Angle of Death (AS) to claim the soul of the daughter of the Prophet (SWS), Owner of the Robe of ‘Tathhir’, Mistress of Creation, Pure and Chaste Her Holiness Sayeda Fatematuz Zahra (AS), then the Angel of Death bowed his head and became silent ; he did not agree at all to claim the soul. This reverence was for the one habituated to being veiled, one whose holy hair the sun had not seen, nor the moon, nor anyone else, nor the gaze of any Angel had fallen on it.
It is in the narration that, when Allah Most High gave the order to Azrael (AS) to claim the soul of Sayeda Fatima (AS), he did not agree to perform this work. Then Allah Most Gracious claimed the soul of the dear daughter of His Beloved with His Divine Own Hand.
لم نزل عليها ملك الموت و لم ترضى بقبضة فقبض الله روحا
Meaning : (When) The Angel of Death did not come, and he did not consent to claim the soul, Allah Most Holy claimed her soul.

*Funeral Prayer* : Her Excellency Sayeda Tahera Fatematuz Zahra’s (AS) holy burial was made as per directive at night in Holy Jannatul Baqi without informing anyone. As per a reliable narration, there were a few people of the ‘Ahle Bayet’ (Family of the Household) at her funeral, His Excellency Abbas (RA), his son His Excellency Hazrat Huzaifa ibn Abbas (RA), and a few ladies. Their Excellencies ‘Hasnain’ (Hasan & Husain) ’Karimaen’(the two Generous Ones)(AS) also went along, crying and wailing, with the funeral bearers. According to narrations from reliable sources, the work of placing her in the holy grave and leading the funeral prayer was done by His Excellency Ali (AS) as per her will. The Arabic Text :
عن زهرى قال دفنت فاطمة بنت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ليلا و دفنها على عليه السلام
Meaning : It is narrated by Juhri : he said Fatima, the daughter of the Holy Prophet was buried at night and she was buried by Ali, Peace be Upon Him.

This is why, ‘Maula Pak’ of Mednipore, Sayedena wa Maulana Hazrat Sayed Shah Ali Abdul Quadir Shamsul Quaderi, known as Sayed Shah Murshid Ali Al-Quaderi Al-Hasani Al-Husaini Al-Baghdadi, descendant of the Prophet, Peace be upon Him, has written in the famous book written by him, ‘Kitab e Dewan e Hazrat Jamal’ :
رات ہی کو کیوں نہ مولی دفن کرتے آپ کو
کب روا ہے کشف اسرار خدا خیر النسا

খাতুনে জান্নাত পাকের বেসাল পাক
*বেসাল পাকের তারিখ* :- সাইয়েদাতুন নেসাইল আলামীন হযরত ফাতেমাতুয যাহরা (আঃ) এঁর বেসালে হকের তারিখের ব্যাপারে মুআররিখ গন বর্ণনা করেছেন যে তিনি তাঁর আব্বাজান হযরত মুহাম্মদ মুস্তাফা (সঃ) এঁর বেসালে হকের ছয় মাস পর ৩ রা রমযানুল মোবারক দুনিয়া ত্যাগ করে মহান আল্লাহ রব্বুল আলামীনের সাথে মিলিত হন। এ ব্যপারে তারিখ ও হাদীসের কেতাবে এসেছে –

অর্থ : হযরত আবু জা’ফার হতে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেন হযরত ফাতেমা (আঃ) নবী পাক (সঃ) এঁর (বেসাল পাকের) ছয় মাস পর বেসাল পাক লাভ করেন

*গোসল ও জানাযার ওসিয়াত* :- হযরত উম্মে জা’ফার হতে বর্ণিত, জনাব সাইয়েদা ফাতেমাতুয যাহরা (আঃ) অসুস্থ থাকা কালে একদিন তাঁর খাদেমা হযরত আসমা বিনতে উমাইস (রাঃ) কে জিজ্ঞেস করলেন যে,এরকম কোনো পদ্ধতি কি হতে পারে যাতে কোনো ব্যক্তি আমার জানাযা পর্যন্তও দেখতে না পারে ? তখন হযরত আসমা বিনতে উমাইস বললেন, হে রসুলুল্লাহ্ (সঃ) এঁর শাহযাদী আমি হাবস প্রদেশে দেখেছি যে সেখানের লোকজন চারপায়ির (খাটের) উপর বৃক্ষের ডালপালা বেঁধে উপরে একটা কাপড় চাপিয়ে দেয়, যাতে উক্ত চারপায়িটি একটি ডুলির আকৃতির মতো হয়ে যায়। আর চতুর্দিকের পর্দা হয়ে যায়। অতঃপর হযরত আসমা খেজুরের ডাল এনে তাঁকে ডুলি করে দেখালেন। জনাব সাইয়েদা ফাতেমা (আঃ) সেই ডুলিটি দেখে খুব পছন্দ করলেন এবং বললেন যে, “যখন আমার জানাযা প্রস্তুত হয়ে যাবে তখন এই প্রকারেরই ডুলি তৈরি করবে। এবং আমাকে দাফন করার জন্য রাতের বেলায় নিয়ে যাবে আর কখনোই অন্য কাউকে আমার জানাযার সংবাদ দেবেনা। এবং তুমি আর মওলা আলী (আঃ) দুজনে মিলে আমার গোসল দেবে। আর আমার জানাযায় অন্য কাউকে ডাকবে না।”

*জনাব সাইয়েদা (আঃ) এঁর রূহ মোবারক কে কবজ করেছেন?* :- শাহযাদী এ রসুল (সঃ), মালিক এ রেদা এ তাতহীর, মাখদুমা এ কায়েনাত, তইয়েবা তাহেরা সাইয়েদা হযরত ফাতেমাতুয যাহরা (আঃ) এঁর রূহ মোবারক কবজ করার জন্য যখন আল্লাহ্ তাবারাক ওয়া তা’আলা মলাকুল মওত (আঃ) কে নির্দেশ দিলেন তখন মলাকুল মওত গর্দান ঝুঁকিয়ে খামোশ হয়ে গেলেন, জান কবজ করতে কিছুতেই রাজি হলেন না। এই এহতেরাম সেই পর্দা নশীনের জন্য যাঁর চুল মোবারককে না কখনো সূর্য দেখেছে, না কখনো চাঁদ, আর না কখনো তারা দেখেছে, আর না কখনো ফেরেশতা বর্গের দৃষ্টি পড়েছে।
রেওয়ায়েতে এসেছে যখন সাইয়েদা ফাতেমা (আঃ) এঁর রূহ মোবারক কবজ করার জন্য আল্লাহ্ তা’আলা আজরাঈল (আঃ) কে নির্দেশ দিলেন, তো তিনি এই কাজে যেতে রাজি হলেন না। তখন আল্লাহ্ তাবারাক ওয়া তা’আলা নিজে তাঁর কুদরতী হাত দ্বারা নিজের মাহবুবের প্রিয় কন্যার রূহ্ মোবারক কবজ করলেন। আরবী মাতান হলো –
لم نزل عليها ملك الموت و لم ترضى بقبضة فقبض الله روحا
অর্থ : (যখন ) মালাকুল মওত নাযিল হলেন না এবং তাঁর রূহ্ কবজ করতে রাজি হলেন না আল্লাহ্ পাক তাঁর রূহ্ কবজ করলেন।

*নামায এ জানাযা* :- জনাব সাইয়েদা তাহেরা ফাতেমাতুয যাহরা (আঃ) এঁর নির্দেশমতোই তাঁকে রাত্রি বেলায় কাউকে খবর না দিয়ে জান্নাতুল বাকী শরীফে দাফন পাক করা হয়। বিশ্বস্ত রেওয়ায়েত অনুযায়ী, তাঁর জানাযা শরীফের সাথে আহলেবায়েত পাকের কিছু ব্যক্তি, হযরত আব্বাস (রাঃ), তাঁর পুত্র হযরত হুযায়ফা ইবনে আব্বাস (রাঃ), এবং কিছু মহিলা ছিলেন। হযরত হাসনাইন কারীমাইন (আলায়হিমাস সালাম)ও জানাযা পাকের সাথে সাথে ক্রন্দন ও বিলাপ করতে করতে যাচ্ছিলেন। বিশ্বস্ত রেওয়ায়েত মোতাবেক তাঁকে কবর শরীফে নামানো এবং তাঁর জানাযার নামায পড়ানোর কাজ হযরত আলী (আঃ) আদা করেছিলেন, আর এটাই তাঁর ওসিয়াত ছিল। আরবী মাতান –
عن زهرى قال دفنت فاطمة بنت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ليلا و دفنها على عليه السلام
অর্থ : যুহরী হতে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেন, ফাতেমা বিনতে রসুলুল্লাহ্ (সঃ) কে দাফন করা হয়েছিল রাত্রি বেলায়, আর তাঁকে দাফন করেছিলেন আলী আলায়হিস সালাম।

তাই মেদিনীপুরী মওলা পাক সাইয়েদেনা ওয়া মওলানা হযরত সাইয়েদ শাহ্ আলী আব্দুল কাদের শামসুল কাদেরী মা’রূফ বে সাইয়েদ শাহ্ মুর্শিদ আলী আল্ কাদেরী আল্ হাসানী আল্ হুসায়নী আল্ বাগদাদী আলা জাদ্দিহী নাবিয়েনা ওয়া আলায়হিস সলাতু ওয়াস সালাম তাঁর রচিত বিখ্যাত কেতাব দেওয়ানে হযরতে জামাল এর মধ্যে লিখেছেন –
رات ہی کو کیوں نہ مولی دفن کرتے آپ کو
