Prayer of Eid ul Fitr / ঈদুল ফিতরের নামায
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
*The Method of Offering the Eid ul Fitr Prayer*
*’Niyat’ (Declaration of Intention)
نَوَيْتُ اَنْ اُصَلِّىَ لِلّٰهِ تَعَالٰى رَكْعَاتَىْ صَلٰوةِ عِيْدِ الْفِطْرِ مَعَ سِتِّ تَكْبِيْرَاتِ وَاجِبِ اللهِ تَعَالٰى
مُتَوَجِّهًا اِلٰى جِهَةِ الْكَعْبَةِ الشَّرِيْفَةِ اَللهُ اَكْبَر
Method of Offering Prayer : After making ‘niyat’ and completing ‘Takbeer e Tahrima’ (Takbeer of Protection, saying, ‘Allahu Akbar’), say the ‘sana’ which is :
سُبْحَانَكَ اَللّٰهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ وَ تَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالٰى جَدُّكَ وَ لَا اِلٰه غَيْرُكَ
– must say. Thereafter, lift the two hands up to the two ears and utter the ‘takbir’ ‘Allahu Akbar’, and leave the two hands hanging down. In this way, perform the ‘takbir’ twice, and in the third time after lifting up the hands to the two ears and uttering the ‘takbir’, tie the two hands together (in ‘tahreem’) instead of leaving the two hands hanging. Thereafter, after saying Sura Fatiha and any Sura and completing the first ‘rakat’, get up for the second ‘rakat’ and say Sura Fatiha and another Sura, and like before, lifting up the hands to the two ears and uttering the ‘takbir’, leave the two hands hanging down. After doing this this way for three times, on the fourth time after uttering the ‘takbir’, go to the ‘ruku’ position. Thereafter, the second ‘rakat’ must be completed as usual.
After the Prayer, the Imam will render the sermon. Thereafter, he will supplicate.

*নিয়াত*
نَوَيْتُ اَنْ اُصَلِّىَ لِلّٰهِ تَعَالٰى رَكْعَاتَىْ صَلٰوةِ عِيْدِ الْفِطْرِ مَعَ سِتِّ تَكْبِيْرَاتِ وَاجِبِ اللهِ تَعَالٰى
مُتَوَجِّهًا اِلٰى جِهَةِ الْكَعْبَةِ الشَّرِيْفَةِ اَللهُ اَكْبَر*
*নামাযের পদ্ধতি* – নিয়াত করে তাকবীর-তাহরীমা বাঁধার পর ‘সানা’ অর্থাৎ
سُبْحَانَكَ اَللّٰهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ وَ تَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالٰى جَدُّكَ وَ لَا اِلٰه غَيْرُكَ
পড়তে হবে। অতঃপর দুই কান পর্যন্ত দুই হাত নিয়ে গিয়ে তাকবীর ‘আল্লাহু আকবার’ পাঠ করে দুই হাত নিচের দিকে ছেড়ে দিতে হবে। এই ভাবে দুইবার তাকবীর পাঠ করার পর তৃতীয় বারে দুই হাত দুই কান পর্যন্ত নিয়ে গিয়ে তাকবীর পাঠ করে দুই হাত ছেড়ে না দিয়ে তাহরীমা বাঁধতে হবে। অতঃপর সুরা ফাতেহার পর যেকোনো একটি সুরা দিয়ে প্রথম রাকাআত শেষ করে দ্বিতীয় রাকাআতে উঠে সুরা ফাতেহার পর অন্য একটি সুরা পড়ে পূর্বের ন্যায় দুই হাত দুই কান পর্যন্ত নিয়ে গিয়ে তাকবীর পাঠ করে দুই হাত নিচের দিকে ছেড়ে দিতে হবে। এইভাবে তিনবার করার পর চতুর্থ বারে তাকবীর পাঠ করে রুকুতে যেতে হবে। তারপর যথারীতি দ্বিতীয় রাকাআত সম্পন্ন করতে হবে।
নামায শেষে ইমাম সাহেব খুতবা পাঠ করবেন। অতঃপর মোনাজাত করবেন।
